Luxury Holiday Cottage nr. Criccieth

Location in Llanystumdwy, nr. Criccieth

Gwyndy Canol Holiday Cottage is positioned in the centre of the picturesque village of Llanystumdwy, 1.5 miles from Criccieth, on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales.

Llanystumdwy is located just off the A497 in between Porthmadog and Pwellhli.

The village has a local pub - The Feathers,  a cafe with a tea garden and the river Dwyfor, all only a few  minutes walk away from the cottage.

Llanystumdwy is most famous for being the boyhood home of David Lloyd George, one of the better known British Prime Ministers.

The seaside town of Criccieth enjoys one of the most beautiful locations to be found anywhere. The castle is set high on a grassy hill, overlooking the sea and has to be a must to visit.

Criccieth's beach is a mixture of sand and pebbles. On a nice day when the sea is out, it is possible to walk along the beach to 'Black Rock Sands', famous for it's 2 mile long sandy beach. Why not walk to Porthmadog and catch the bus home. The buses run every 15 minutes and the stop is just round the corner from the cottage.

Pwellhli is 8 miles to the west of Llanystumdwy. It is a busy market town, with lots of interesting shops, a marina and lovely places to eat.

The Snowdonia National Park is also in easy reach.
