Location

Southbourne is ideally located between Bournemouth & Christchurch.

There is a level 20 minute walk along the prominade to Boscombe Pier and the new Surf Reef. Bournemouth  with all its attractions is a further 20 minutes walk along the prominade. Southbourne Village is 500 metres away which has a good selection of shops,restaurants, pubs and cafes.

There are bus services to Boscombe, Bournemouth & Christchurch.

Hengistbury Head Heritage centre is approximately 2 miles away from where you can take a ferry ride to Christchurch or Mudeford Quay, where you can sample the locally caught crab and lobster.

The New Forest with all its attractions is a 10 minute drive away.

There are so many things to do with fantastic walks, sightseeing, boat trips, swimming, cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding etc, but we must not forget this is also a great place to relax and from Southbournes sandy Blue Flag beach you can see the Isle of Wight to the east and Bournemouth, Poole and Swanage to the west.
