Great Bealings lies in unspoilt, rolling countryside, with the River Finn running through ancient water
meadows, below the 1,000 year old church of St Mary's. It is only a couple of miles from the centre of Woodbridge and its Market Hill (left), and within easy reach of the county town of Ipswich.
Trains from London Liverpool Street stop at both Ipswich and Woodbridge taking just over the hour to reach Ipswich.
The golf course adjoining Seckford Hall Hotel (right) is just up the road, with the heathland and challenging Woodbridge and Ipswich Golf Courses about 15 minutes drive away.
We have a pay and play tennis court and playground shared with Little Bealings, near the local pub, The Admiral's Head, which serves Adnams Ales and Italian influenced recipes. The award winning Grundisburgh Dog and Milsoms at Kesgrave Hall are both great places to eat locally.
Woodbridge with it
s Tide Mill and marina on the Deben, (left), is a renowned sailing
centre, connecting down river to Waldringfield and Ramsholt. The National Trust's Sutton Hoo is close by: their amazing reconstruction of King Raedwald's ship and treasures an absolute must see.
