Our village is in unspoilt, rolling countryside, with the River Finn running through ancient water
meadows, below the 1,000 year old church of St Mary's, only a couple of miles from the centre of Woodbridge and its Market Hill (left), and within easy reach of the county town of Ipswich.
Trains from London Liverpool Street stop at both Ipswich and Woodbridge taking just over the hour to reach Ipswich.
The golf course adjoining Seckford Hall Hotel (right) is just up the road, and we have a pay and play tennis court and playground shared with Little Bealings, not far from the local pub, The Admiral's Head, which serves Adnams Ales and Italian influenced recipes.
Woodbridge with it
s Tide Mill on the Deben, (below left), is a renowned sailing
and golfing centre, with several challenging heathland courses at Bromeswell, Aldeburgh and Thorpeness to choose from. The National Trust's Sutton Hoo is close by: their amazing reconstruction of King Raedwald's ship and treasures an absolute must see.
